Family Services

Family Services at Trinity are a time for us all to enjoy worshipping together!  They take place about four times a year – Mothering Sunday, Fathers’ Day, Harvest and Christmas.  The service lasts about an hour and includes creative Bible reading, inspirational prayer, drama, dance, action songs and times to engage with God in a relevant way.

On these occasions music is provided by ‘The Big Band’ a cross generational group who play together for Family Worship.  If you play an instrument you can join ‘The Big Band.’

We aim for a sense of inclusion at Family Services and our Uniformed Groups and Young Church groups are often take part in a variety of ways.
So from the very young to the not so young we hope that these services allow everyone to encounter God in an exciting and creative way.

At Harvest and Christmas we respond to God’s goodness by bringing gifts for others:

  • Harvest – We bring non perishable items for the work of West End Refugees and Common Ground.
  • Christmas Toy Service – We bring toys that will again support Refugees and Local Children and give thanks for the Shoe Boxes prepared for Operation Christmas Child.

Family Services are often busy and bustling but you can be sure that a warm welcome awaits you!
