Trinity Centre and Cafe
The Trinity Centre and Cafe form part our outreach into the Gosforth Community. Both provide a place of welcome where people can meet, talk to and care about each other.
The Trinity Centre is used regularly by a varied mix of individuals and community groups. They range from parent and toddler activities to lunches for the over 60’s, and from musical play for the very young to adult education classes for the more mature. The rooms and halls are also available to rent for private parties, weddings and functions.
The Trinity Cafe is a relaxed and friendly place in which to enjoy coffee, tea and light meals – snacks, fresh scones, cakes, paninis, soup and sandwiches etc. Everyone is welcome. Those with a little time to spend with friends over a coffee, mothers with younger children and older people for example, will find it the ideal spot.
We have our own professional catering team and are licensed to serve alcoholic drinks with meals or at functions. There are opportunities for voluntary work in the Centre and Cafe. Volunteers typically work on reception, help in the cafe and with catering, administration, delivering leaflets – in fact if you have a talent we can use it!!
