“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind….Love your neighbour as yourself” – Matthew 23:37-39
“They devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” – Acts 2:42
Trinity has various small groups called ‘Life Groups’ which meet midweek for the purpose of meeting with other disciples to worship, pray, share in Bible study, to build each other up and serve the wider community.
The groups are diverse: some are single sex, some are mixed, some are multi-generational, some are built around folks of the same age. The groups are growing and developing and multiplying. A typical group is made of up to 12 people and meets in the home of one of the group. The group tends to have a leader and an assistant leader, although full participation is welcomed and encouraged.
Trinity’s vision is to have a strong foundation of small groups in the church to promote discipleship and growth in Jesus—helping one another to grow in faith and purpose as we seek God together and engage in mission together. It is our hope that every member will know the benefit and blessing of being together in this way so that we can fulfil the calls upon our lives.
