Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is a priority at Trinity.
At Trinity Church & Centre, we are committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of the children, young people and vulnerable adults within our church community. This, of course, includes good Health and Safety practice in all aspects of our work.
We want all our groups within Trinity to function safely and happily.
Trinity is committed to ensuring that everyone working with children, young people and vulnerable adults:
- Has a Criminal Records Bureau check
- Is adequately trained and supervised
- Understands and follows Trinity’s safeguarding policy
Trinity has appointed Helen Pickard as Safeguarding Co-ordinator.
Parents/carers are of course welcome to come and see what goes on in any of our groups. Please speak to the group leader.
At Trinity we take child protection very seriously. We have a Safeguarding policy, which is based on government guidelines and The Churches Agency for Safeguarding. Please ask if you would like to see a copy.
