Safeguarding Info

Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is a priority at Trinity.

At Trinity Church & Centre, we are committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of the children, young people and vulnerable adults within our church community. This of course, includes good Health & Safety practice in all aspects of our work.

We want all our groups within Trinity to function safely and happily.

Trinity is committed to ensuring that everyone working with children, young people and vulnerable adults:

  • has a DBS check (criminal records check)
  • is adequately trained and supervised
  • understands and follows Trinity’s safeguarding policy

Trinity has appointed Helen Pickard as Safeguarding Co-ordinator.

Parents/carers are of course welcome to come and see what goes on in any of our groups.  Please speak to the group leader.

At Trinity we take the safeguarding of children & vulnerable adults very seriously. We have a Safeguarding policy from the Methodist Church which is reviewed annually. Please ask in the office if you would like to see a copy.
