Trinity Square – progress update

Following the relevant permission having been obtained, the problematic trees with were removed on 2nd April. This generated support and interest in the scheme, plus a market in logs! Those concerned about the loss of the trees were content when they were advised that we would be providing mature replacements in the autumn.

As planned, Newcastle City Council workers started on 7th April and are currently on schedule. The office give the site manager a weekly diary of activities at Trinity. The completion date is dependent on the delivery of Granite from abroad where it can be sourced more economically but it is expected to be during July 2014.

Please see the Trinity Square works page for further info.
